About Gulmay Medical

Gulmay Medical commenced operation in 1995 to develop, design, manufacture and market x-ray therapy equipment specifically to the medical market and now has an installed base of superficial and orthovoltage equipment in over 500 hospitals worldwide.

Gulmay Medical is a global company with facilities in both the UK and USA. All medical devices are manufactured from our large facility within the UK whilst in 2002 we opened offices in the USA specifically for the manufacturing of our research systems.

Customers benefit from the company's integrated development philosophy, offering a turnkey approach for therapy centres involving all aspects of room design, installation and acceptance testing together with certified operator training and local service and maintenance options.

On the 1st May 2008, Gulmay Medical acquired IRS medical, our servicing partner for Gulmay Medical's existing UK medical, research and industrial calibration systems. Gulmay Medical had been working in partnership with IRS medical for some time however the decision was made to integrate them into Gulmay Medical Ltd to provide not only equipment servicing but also installation of all new Gulmay Medical equipment. The merger allows Gulmay Medical to expand its services to fully satisfy each customer's specific installation requirements by offering either a full turnkey solution or room refurbishment, including end of service equipment decommission and disposal in line with the WEEE regulations where necessary. By integrating IRS Medical's expertise into Gulmay Medical's well established service provision, we are able to provide customers with an enhanced seamless refurbishment, production and installation program to meet the needs of their specific environment.
